New Programs on WCBU

The Moth Radio Hour -- Saturdays at 3:00 p.m.
The Moth features true stories told live on stage without scripts, notes, props, or accompaniment. Each hour includes humorous, heartbreaking, and poignant personal tales that delight audiences with their honesty, bravery and humor.

Travel with Rick Steves -- Sundays at 2:00 p.m.
The public television host brings his travel advice to radio with a “practical talk show” with guest experts and questions from travelers. The program is a lively conversation between travelers and the experts as we learn to explore our world smartly, smoothly, and thoughtfully. It covers travels in Europe, the U.S. and the rest of the world; and topics as far flung as keeping healthy on the road, sabbaticals, sailing, and fear of flying.

TED Radio Hour -- Sundays at 5:00 p.m.
Based on talks given by speakers at the annual TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) Conference, each show is centered on a common theme – such as the source of happiness, crowd-sourcing innovation, power shifts, or inexplicable connections – and uses excerpts from those talks, and interviews, to bring these ideas to life.
