Peoria Police are reminding parents and guardians of the city’s curfew requirements. The reminder comes at the request of Peoria City Council members with the arrival of summer vacation.

The Peoria curfew for those 12 and younger it 9 p.m. 13 to 16-year-olds need to be in by 11:00 p.m. on weeknights and midnight on Friday and Saturday nights.

The Peoria Police Department is also asking parents to make sure they are fresh on all the night time restrictions of the state’s Graduated Driver’s License. That includes prohibited cell phone use even with hands-free devices while behind the wheel for those 19 and younger.
