The Peoria County Board of Election wants residents to know they might be receiving a voter registration form from a Chicago based group.
Executive Director Tom Bride says it’s a valid registration form. But he says there’s a possibility that some mailings will go out to residents who are already registered, those who have moved, as well as the dead. Bride says in that case, people should just disregard the mailing.
The mailer would be coming from the Voter Participation Center in Chicago. Those interested in registering to vote can also do so online.
